We recommend that large street side cans are cleaned at least four times per year. However, the frequency is up to you and should be based on how dirty your cans get, the size of your family and the amount of trash you generate, and where your trash cans are stored.
Smaller in home trash cans should be cleaned when they emit odors and have stains from food waste.
What trash cans does Custom Can Cleaning clean?
We will clean any trash can that we can fit in our homemade trash can cleaner. Any type of can or style that is smaller or equivalent size to a normal street side can is possible for us to clean. We will find a way to make your cans the cleanest!
Where do I put my smaller trash cans?
Please let us know when requesting a service where you plan to leave your smaller trash cans. We recommend that smaller cans are stacked and left inside larger curbside cans. Be sure that your trash has been picked up and it is not a holiday or other day that may change when your trash is picked up. We are not responsible for any cans that are accidentally collected by the local trash service.
What is the Custom Can Cleaning Service Area?
We serve Wooster, Ohio and the surrounding rural communities and smaller towns. If you want your trash cans to be renewed, we will do our best within reason to make it happen.
Why pay to have my trash cans cleaned?
Save yourself the time, headache, and gross mess (splashback!) of cleaning trash cans by letting us do it instead. We are specialized in trash can cleaning and would like to make your life easier and cleaner while you go about your normal day.
Are there any harmful chemicals used?
We utilize biodegradable soaps and disinfectants to help remove grime and refresh your trash cans.
How soon can I expect my cans to be clean after requesting a cleaning service?
Once you have submitted a request for service we will review and accept your request. When you submit a request we ask what week you would like to have your cans cleaned on your trash day. Expect that the can or cans is/are cleaned on that day.
Do I need to have all of the trash out of my cans?
Everything in the trash can that is not stuck on to the can should be removed before your cleaning. We are able to dispose of trash that our pressure washing system removes from the can.
I need to reschedule my service. How do I do that?
Email or call as soon as you know that you want to reschedule. As long as you cancel the day previous to your scheduled day we will not charge you. If you have a different day or week in mind to put on our calendar then let us know!
The trash company did not pick up my trash. What do I do?
We appreciate if you let us know as soon as you know if possible. If we arrive for your scheduled service on the day after your trash day and the can is full of trash, we will make note of this and attempt to clean the cans on the same day of the following week. If you need your cans cleaned sooner, send us an email and we will see what we can arrange.
I forgot to put my cans out to have them cleaned. What now?
Please reach out and we will work with you to find a solution. You will still be billed because we went out to clean your cans but we believe that everyone is human and we all forget things from time to time. We will do our best to fit you in to have your cans cleaned at an additional reduced rate.
